Insomnia is a common condition and first line therapy of clinical psychology works well for many. However, many end up using sleeping aids such as benzodiazepines without any real benefit to insomnia symptoms, fatigue and mood. There is therefore a growing interest in the role of medicinal cannabis or cannabinoid therapy such as Cannabidiol CBD and tetrahydrocannabinol THC in patients with sleep disorders such as insomnia. This video highlights where CBD and THC may considered in those with sleeping difficulties.
